Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 29, 2026
Wemailtoo helps you create and translate email text and insert the English message you approve into Gmail. This policy describes the data used by the Wemailtoo website and Chrome extension.
Information processed to provide the service
- Your typed instructions and speech-recognition transcript.
- The generated English email and requested translation.
- Account, authentication, usage, and billing information needed to provide and manage the service.
When you click Generate, your instruction is sent securely to Wemailtoo's backend. When you request email generation or translation, the text needed to provide that feature may be processed by OpenAI on Wemailtoo’s behalf. Supabase supports account authentication and backend data, and Stripe processes website billing when applicable.
Gmail access
The extension interacts only with the active Gmail compose editor when necessary to identify the correct message body, insert content after you click Insert, and verify that the content was inserted correctly. That existing compose text is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to Wemailtoo. The extension does not read your inbox, email history, contacts, recipients, subject, or Gmail search field, and it does not send email automatically.
Voice input
Voice input starts only after you click Speak. The Chrome extension uses the browser's SpeechRecognition service to convert audio to text. Extension code does not record, upload, or store an audio file. The recognized text remains editable and is sent to Wemailtoo only when you request email generation. The browser speech-recognition provider may process audio under its own terms.
Authentication
Wemailtoo uses account and session information to authenticate you, maintain access to the service, and protect your account. The Chrome extension does not request or store your password.
Storage and retention
The extension may temporarily hold instructions, generated text, and translations in browser memory while the extension is in use. This temporary extension state is not intended as permanent storage. Wemailtoo stores generated English email history for seven days so it can appear in your account history. You can delete saved items through the website history controls. The current server history does not store the translation.
Sharing and use limitations
In the current Chrome extension, data is processed to provide, secure, support, and operate the requested Wemailtoo service. The extension contains no advertising, behavioral-advertising, data-sale, credit-decision, or unrelated profiling functionality. Its Gmail access is used only for the disclosed compose-and-insert feature, not for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Security
Wemailtoo uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Your choices
Voice input is optional; you may type instructions instead. You can review instructions before generating, choose whether to insert a result into Gmail, delete saved generated emails through the website history controls, or contact Wemailtoo with questions.
Children's privacy
Wemailtoo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
